Title of the Project: “Deriving gene regulatory networks mediating legume-powdery mildew cross-talk during compatible and incompatible interactions”.
Duration: Until July 31st 2019.
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with NET qualification and minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams. Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques including nucleic acid extraction, cloning, and gene expression analysis in plant systems is essential. A strong motivation and commitment towards research is required. The person should be a hard worker and a team player with excellent inter-personal skills.
Age limit: Should be below 28 years on the date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA per month
Interview Date and Time: Candidates will be required to appear for the interview in person on 8th January, 2019 at 10:00 am. Candidates arriving after 11:00 am will not be considered.

Important note :
The appointment will be on contractual basis/ purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under regional center of biotechnology.
The candidate must bring one set of their complete biodata in original, reprints of papers with selfattested copies of the testimonials(certificates, mark sheets and degrees) from matriculate onwards and age proof with two passport size photographs along with all originals with them.
The period of appointment junior research fellow will be initially for a period of couple of months and is likely to be extended further on a monthly basis subject to satisfactory performance of candidate.
The junior research fellow may also leave the assignment, on their own volition, by giving one month notice.
At the end of the contracted period, the junior research scholarship will have no right to claim any employment or engagement in the regional center of biotechnology.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview. No separate letter will be issued.
