Project title : synthesis of low cost material for the removal of arsenic and flouride from the ground water and wastewater.
Funded by : SERB-DST New Delhi India
Stipend : selected candidates get monthly stipend of Rs. 14,000/- per month plus HRA 20% as per rules and regulations of department.
Essential qualifications : Candidates must have 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Msc or equivalent degree in environmental science, environmental chemistry, chemistry, applied chemistry, preference will be given to candidates who is having good knowledge of basic computer skills, like MS office and also having knowledge in adsorption of pollutants as well as synthesis of adsorbents.
Desirable qualifications : Research experience in same area.
Age limit : candidates age not more exceeding than 28 years as on date of interview. As per rules and regulations of government of India age relaxation will given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Project duration : initially for four months may be extendable for six months.
Job requirements :
- Synthesis of low cost micro/nano size material from waste material and natural material.
- Analysis of arsenic using atomic adsorption spectrophotometer.
- Application of synthesize material from waste material.
Date and time of Interview :
Interview held on 28/11/2018 at 11.00 am at department of environmental science BBAU.
Important note :
The appointment will be on contractual basis/ purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under SERB DBT.
The candidate must bring one set of their complete biodata in original, reprints of papers with selfattested copies of the testimonials(certificates, mark sheets and degrees) from matriculate onwards and age proof with two passport size photographs along with all originals with them.
The period of appointment project assistant will be initially for a period of four months and is likely to be extended further on a monthly basis subject to satisfactory performance of candidate.
The project assistant may also leave the assignment, on their own volition, by giving one month notice.
At the end of the contracted period, the young professional will have no right to claim any employment or engagement in the BBAU.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview. No separate letter will be issued.
Candidates fulfilling the Essential Qualification only need to attend the walk-in-interview. Candidate should mention for which group, he is going to appear in the prescribed Performa for the interview.
