The ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR), Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar, Odisha invited you to attend  walk-in-interview held at ICAR-CIFA on 28/11/2018 at 10.30 A. M. for engagement of 01(One) no. of Junior Research Fellow(JRF) purely on contractual basis to work under NFDB funded- Innovative Project-Upscaling and demonstration of nursery and grow out carp feeds developed by ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar. Project title :
Innovative Project-Upscaling and demonstration of nursery and grow out carp feeds developed by ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar

Duration:  3years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier.

Stipend : Selected candidates get monthly stipend of Rs.25,000/- during 1st and 2nd years + HRA 20% and Rs. 28,000/- p.m.+ HRA from 3rd year as per rules and regulations of ICAR.

Essential qualifications :
 Candidates who have completed their M.F.Sc./M.Tech/M.V.Sc. with 4 Years/5 Years Bachelor’s Degree Or M.Sc. (Zoology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ any branch of Life Science) with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s Degree with NET/GATE qualification (CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT BET/ICAR and other examinations as per DST guidelines) are eligible for the position. 


Age limit :
Candidates age Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules and regulations.

Important guidelines :
  1. Interested candidates should bring their curriculum vitae (5 Copies), with two passport size photographs and one set of self-attested copies of the entire certificates/Marks Sheets/Experience certificate.
  2. The original certificates and proof of age and caste are required to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
  3. The selected candidate may also be required to work in rural areas and travel extensively, as per requirement of the work.
  4. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates to attend walk the interview.
  5. No interim enquiries will be entertained.
  6. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.
  7. The above engagements are purely temporary and will stand terminated automatically after completion of project.
  8. The candidate will not have any right for employment in ICAR-CIFA/ICAR.
  9. The selected candidate have to join this position  immediately.
