Government jobs The department of biotechnology released official notifications, DBT requires the services of suitable officer for filling up one position of scientist H. Qualified and interested candidates can send there application before 45 days of advertisements punishment.

Stipend : Selected candidates get pay matrix level 15 of Rs. 18,22,000- 2241001/- per year.

Esserntial qualifications:
Master Of Science in Life Sciences or Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Of Surgery (MBBS) or Bachelor Of Engineering or Technology in the field of Biotechnology from a recognized University. Desirable: Doctor of Philosophy in Sciences or Master of Veterinary Science or Master of Technology in the field of Biotechnology from at recognized University.

Minimum experience required:
20 years experience in responsible positions of work in R&D/ Management & Administration / Planning/ Industrial/ Academic Institutions and/ Or Science & Technology Organizations with a broad perspective of the Biotechnology.

Duties and responsibilities :

a. To provide vision and direction to the R&D programmes relating 10 agriculture, medical, environmental, industrial processes and animal biotechnology.

b. To provide vision and direction to the programmes relating to Biosecurity. Biotech Regulation, Intellectual Property, National Biotechnology Regulatory Authority, legislation on DNA Profiling as well as on the Protection and Utilization of Intellectual Property in Public Funded R&D and International Collaboration.

c. To promote innovation through public private partnerships, establishment of biotech parks and incubators, capacity building for management of Intellectual Property and technology transfer as well as establishing technology transfer cells.
