Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates in the prescribed form by School of agricultural biotechnology, PAU, Ludhiana. under the Project entitled “Improvement of end use quality of 1BL/1RS translocation containing wheat varieties by removing of Sec I loci and retaining Glu-B3 using marker assisted back cross breeding (MABB), CSS-03 (PC-6177). Student Who have completed Bsc and Msc in life science, microbiology, biotechnology are eligible to apply.

Project Title :  “Improvement of end use quality of 1BL/1RS translocation containing wheat varieties by removing of Sec I loci and retaining Glu-B3 using marker assisted back cross breeding (MABB), CSS-03 (PC-6177)

Project Duration : Project duration is six months.

Qualifications for the position :

B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Or
M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Molecular Genetics/Bioinformatics/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics with at least 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks are eligible to apply.

Application Fees : Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of academic certificates.

Stipend : Selected candidates get Rs. 25000/- Per Month fixed + 20% HRA for 1st & 2ndyear (M.Sc. + NET ) as JRF.Rs. 28,000/- p.m. fixed + 20% HRA for 3rd, 4th & 5thyear (M.Sc. + NET) as SRF
