 CSIR-NEERI Zonal Laboratory, Hyderabad was established in the year 1960 and was the first zonal laboratory started by CSIR-NEERI. The focus of the Hyderabad Zonal Laboratory (HZL) is to identify, predict and assess the significance of environmental and social effects of any developmental activity on air, water, noise levels, land use and ecology. It also provides input and advice on mitigation options, monitoring measures to prevent, reduce or remedy significant adverse impacts on the environment including coastal/marine environment. Job title : Project Assistant Level-I

 No. Of posts : 05 (Five)

 Project title :  To work in ongoing consultancy/ R&D ( Research and development ) Project of Hyderabad zonal center.

 Essential qualifications : Interested candidates must have completed Bsc
In any field of life science and relevant fields of life science like Bsc in biotechnology, microbiology, environmental science, biology, Bsc in biochemistry, botany, zoology degree with at least 55% marks in degree from any recognized university of India are eligible for the position.
Desirable qualifications : Candidates have prior work experience in handling microbial sampling, basic techniques and prior lab experienced related to Mycobacterium sp is desirable.

 Responsibilities and duties :
  1. Interested candidates must have have to perform cleanly and sharply there responsibilities.
  2. Candidates have to perform duties like collection of data, field survey, collection of wastewater, air , soil samples etc.
  3. Selected candidates have to prepare reports using your computer skills.
  4. Data analysis, processing and reports preparation.
  5. Laboratory analysis responsibilities Characterization of air, water, wastewater etc.
  6. Microbiological analysis of samples such as water, air, soil samples, wastewater etc.

Stipend : Selected candidates get monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules and regulations of department.

Upper Age Limit :  Not more than 28 year's.
Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST / woman candidates as per government rules and regulations.
