Scientist unplugged 10 Defense machanism in Bacteria

VIRAL ATTACK  Viruses called phages (shown landing on the surface of a cell in this transmission electron micrograph) can infect and kill bacteria. Scientists have just found a slew of new defense mechanisms that help bacteria resist such assaults. Credit: Sciencenews

Since long decade researcher are looking for new defense mechanism in bacteria against viral invaders. There is only and alone immune system of bacteria "CRISPR" which protects bacteria from virus attacks. Now recent research of researcher have discovered TEN set of genes which protects which protects bacteria from virus invaders, A Microbiologist from university of California, San Diego's, Joseph bondy Denomy says the inventions Doubles the protective mechanism of immune system known in bacteria.

Bacteria are vulnerable to deadly virus called bacteriophages which uses the bacterial genetic machine for there own purposes and replicate itself and produce viral DNA. Meny of the bacteria are lack the immune system and some of them are fighters they protect itself from viral particles using defense mechanism called CRISPR.

CRISPR is used as defense mechanism for bacteria which stores pieces of past invaders DNA , so by this mechanism bacteria can easily recognized and fend off those phages which in future interaction.

But scientist are worried about only 40% of bacteria have CRISPR defense mechanism what about 60% of bacteria, due to the reason they and his colleagues are looking and searching for other defense mechanism.

So the researchers use data to synthesize the relevant bits of DNA and inserted them in to E.coli  and bacillus subtilis  which can grown and studies how bacteria protects itself from viral invaders and other sources of foreign DNA. When a foreign genes in a family were detected. It's getting rid of some of the genes affected by bacteria ability to fight off phages that results suggested the group of genes which was defense system.

Nine group of bacterial genes turned out to anti phage defense system protected against plasmid and others sources of foreign DNA, the researchers studies.

Sorak jokes says "we are run out acronyms" so the new system named after protective duties of the genes.

From this discovery we can study 10 defense mechanism which protects bacteria from virus invaders and infection. This enlighten our knowledge about immune system of bacteria, and unplugged the flurry of new studies to figure out how those new defense system works and weather they like CRISPR might also be useful in biotechnology tools.

Imagine world without Biotechnology ?

Over the past Two years, I have always wondered and surprised how life would be without the massive Biotechnological inventions of today. Perhaps everyone wonders the same thing. We are in the 21st century! Yeah, I am supposed to embrace biotechnology, it's something that is inborn, something that I found and cannot imagine my life without. But what would I do without this precious gift? Life back in the day would be a nightmare. Ideally, much of the paper will focus on how life would be without biotechnology by basing the argument on all spheres of life. Imagine living in a world where Biotechnology didn’t exist. That Antibiotics, you have, Computers you’re reading on, or even that nice Food you Eat, all gone with a single blink of an eye. From cultured meat to a “MicrobeMiner” for antibiotics and liquid biocomputers, a new wave of consumer biotechnology products is transforming the world. The world you would be living in would be nothing but an empty, dark and cold...
