NGS scholarship for international students | Apply Online 2018

The NGS scholarship is awarded to self motivate and talented students with an attitude to encourage students for innovative high caliber PhD research in foreign countries.. the NGS scholarship is funded by the national University of Singapore for those students who have completed there bachelor degree and above qualifications are eligible for the NGS scholarship 2018 to complete there higher studies in Singapore.

  • Courses to study : bioengineering, biological sciences, bioprocess and biochemical engineering, chemical and biomolecular engineering and computer science.

Eligibility :

  • NGS scholarship is open for worldwide everyone can  apply for NGS scholarship. 
  • Interested candidates must be completed graduation with at least second upper honours or must equivalent qualifications for the NGS scholarship.
  • Interested candidates must be completed graduation in any field of science with interest and passion in cross disciplinary research in science, computer science, engineering and related courses of medicine are eligible for the NGS scholarship.
  • GRE is necessary for all interested candidates, everyone should keep in mind GRE is not substitute by GATE examination, it is complsory for NUS & NTU master students and graduates.
  • TOEFL/IELTS is complsory of applicant who's native tounge or medium of undergraduate  instructions is not in English.

Terms and conditions :

  • Interested candidates must be admitted to master degree at opening of NGS scholarship.
  • Interested candidates must be completed master program for PhD.
  • President graduate fellowship (PGF) students are not eligible for NGS scholarship.
  • NGS scholarship is renewable subjects to satisfactory academic performance of CAP 3.8 at the end of every semester examination results.

Application fees : 

Each students must be submitted S$50 per application to the national University of Singapore. The application fees is not refundable.

Scholarship fund : 

This scholarship is for worldwide  so the scholarship is Fluctuate in countries generally provides monthly stipend up to 4 years of the PhD studies for international students is S$ 3,000 dollars.


Important dates :

  • This scholarship is open from 01 September 2018 in worldwide.
  • This scholarship is open from 15 dece 2018 worldwide.

How to apply :

Interested candidates can apply for the NGS scholarship through online from 1 September 2018 and till before the last date 15 December 2018
